The Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District’s Rain for Tomorrow Conservation Initiative is a program offering rainwater harvesting kits to Montgomery County residents at a discounted price.

What’s Included in the Rainwater Harvesting Kit?

  • A 50-gallon capacity Ivy rain barrel. Measurements: 42.5”H x 22.5”D.
  • Black lid with but-proof screen, ring and two releasable zip ties.
  • Two screen replacements.
  • 3/4” ball valve – easily connects to standard garden hose.
  • Two built in overflow ports. Primary overflow directs water away from foundation. (Use overflow hose to link additional barrel!)
